Post Close Session
|
|
NSE has introduced the post close session, which will open after the close of
Normal market hours. The post close session will begin at 15:50 hours and end
at 16:00 hours. In this session, you would be allowed to place only market
orders, at the closing price of the scrip. You can place market orders only
on the NSE specified scrips, in which trading has occurred during the normal market session.
Trades occurring during the post close session will be considered as Normal Market
trades.

Handy Quote and Quick Place Order
Many of you have requested a facility to be able to place orders without losing sight of the quote screen.
You can now get quotes and place orders through a toolbar-like strip at the lower part of the screen.
To get a quote, simply select the scrip symbol and click on the 'prices' link. Placing an order simply requires you
to select the scrip, enter the quantity (and limit price for limit orders) and click on 'buy' or 'sell'.
This strip will always be visible just like the Market Watch list on the top.
Clicking on the 'buy' or 'sell' link on the quote screen or the Market Watch list will pre-populate the scrip symbol
in this strip. If you prefer, you can also continue to click on the place order menu option and use the earlier screen.
We hope you like this new feature aimed at saving your time and reducing the number of clicks.
Quick Cancel Order:
You can now quickly cancel multiple or all orders without having to
place cancel order requests one by one. If you desire, you can view the list of orders that
are "cancelable". Orders can be filtered based on instrument and transaction type (buy/sell).
For example, you can choose to cancel all your buy orders.
On viewing the cancelable orders, you can select one or more or all orders
for cancellation. You can also choose to cancel all your orders without viewing them.
You will receive individual confirmation/rejection responses via alert messages and e-mails as usual.
D-TAN
Your D-TAN would be displayed to you throughout your trading session on the top left hand corner of the screen,
just below the personalized greeting.
