BgSE Financial Ltd, a subsidiary of the Bangalore Stock Exchange, BgSE, has signed up with DotEx International, to provide internet trading facility to over 100 exchange members from February 20, reports UNI.

BgSE Financial is an exchange subsidiary member of the National Stock Exchange, NSE, enabling members to trade on the NSE. DotEx International is promoted by NSE.IT and i-flex Solutions Ltd, providing internet trading infrastructure to NSE members. Internet trade by investors of BgSE brokers would be routed to NSE's trading system, using the Internet trading infrastructure of DotEx.

BgSE Financials is the first exchange subsidiary of the regional stock exchange to offer Internet trading facility to its members. With the addition of BgSE Financial, DotEx has enabled nearly 500 Securities and Exchange Board of India, SEBI, registered broking entities to offer internet trading to their investors. Since the launch of DotEx in November 2000, more than 80% of NSE members offering Internet trading have opted to use DotEx infrastructure.
