BRIDGE
Information Systems (Bridge), an international
provider of financial information services, has
announced a partnership with DotEx International
Ltd, promoted by National Stock Exchange of India
(NSE.IT) and i-flex solutions.
Speaking at a
press conference, Mr Ajay Puri, Director, Bridge,
said: ``Through its Bridge Internet Solutions,
Bridge will enable users of dotexplaza.com to
access Indian data, news, commentary and analysis
from Bridge News.''
Mr Puri said that
Bridge has already entered into partnerships with
two Web sites other than dotexplaza.com and has
plans to sign up at least half a dozen more by the
end of the financial year.
The average cost
for the applications and information provided by
Bridge works out to an average of $20,000 per
month, he said.
Available to the
Indian market by the end of the year, DotEx will
enable brokers and general investors to
electronically trade securities listed on India's
stock exchanges.
According to Mr
Peter Coker, President, Bridge Internet Solutions,
Bridge will be targeting bankers and brokers who
will need to access the Net for information.
